Press the ULT button to enjoy the powerful sound of ULT1 and ULT2. Select ULT1 for deeper, lower frequency bass. Select ULT2 for powerful, punchy bass¹.

360º Party Sound carries powerful sound to every corner of the room. Four tweeters deliver clear sound to both the front and rear of the speaker, with two mid-range speakers for vocal clarity. Feel the bass sound, thanks to the large X-Balanced Speaker Unit. Together, they let everyone in the room feel the power of the music, wherever they are.

Our X-Balanced Speaker Unit features an almost square diaphragm, for an increased surface area compared to conventional speaker units. The 320 mm x 320 mm large woofer unit gives clear and deep bass sound.

The non-circular diaphragm not only maximises the area of speaker diaphragm but it also increases sound pressure for deeper and punchier bass, less distortion and greater vocal clarity. Altogether, it elevates your listening experience.

Perfect your karaoke with the Echo and Key Control function on the top panel. There's also a second input, so you can plug in another microphone for a duet or even a guitar and use your speaker as an amp.

TV Sound Booster

Boosting live performance

Sony's unique function, TV Sound Booster, lets you enjoy enhanced audio-visual sound, watching everything from live performance videos to movies. With deep bass and realistic high-frequency sound spread, you get a true audio-visual experience that draws you right into the action. The ULT TOWER 9AC ramps up your TV sound with the X-Balanced Speaker Unit, while tweeters on the rear help fill the room with pure sound.

Switch on TV Sound Booster in the Sony | Sound Connect App.

Activate the sound of ULT TOWER 9AC and TV

1. Play content on TV.
2. Adjust the TV volume using its remote control so that you can clearly hear dialogue.
3. Adjust the volume of the ULT TOWER 9AC from the Sony | Sound Connect app so that the bass sound is as loud as you like.
